Job summary

Montage International seeks an Assistant Director of Security to lead daily security operations at Pendry and safeguard guests and assets. The role emphasizes policy creation, incident follow-up, safety program development, and staff training in emergency procedures.

You will manage access control and CCTV systems, participate in the Safety Committee, and help implement SOPs while maintaining flexible scheduling to support hotel needs.

Qualifications

• Prior Safety and Security leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience managing Workers Compensation and General Liability claims preferred.
• Proficiency with basic law enforcement knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist the Director of Security with daily Security Department operations.
• Establish and implement security policies and procedures.
• Review and follow up on incident, accident, and loss reports.
• Assist with Fire Life Safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and train staff in emergency preparedness procedures.
• Assist with key control program implementation.
• Participate in the property's Safety Committee and own actions.
• Collaborate to develop and implement department SOPs.
• Train associates on OSHA rules and Workers' Compensation.
• Systems administrator for access control and CCTV systems.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
