Job summary

Glenmont Job Corps Center in Glenmont, NY seeks an experienced Security & Protective Services Instructor to teach hands-on security training, mentor students, and prepare them for industry credentials.

You will deliver engaging instruction Monday through Friday, maintain accurate records, support career placement, and ensure safety and student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience teaching or in a related field.
• Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state where the center is located, or accredited by a professional trade organization.
• For NTC, instructor must be certified by a union or trade organization, or by a national trade certifying organization.
• Previous Job Corps experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and meet insurability requirements.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching; able to lift 40 pounds.

Glenmont Job Corps Center is looking for an experienced Security & Protective Services Instructor to join our Career Technical Training team! Put your industry knowledge to work by teaching, mentoring, and preparing the next generation of security professionals for successful careers.

Salary: $65,000 annually

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:45 AM-4:45 PM

Location: Glenmont, NY

Requirement: New York State certification, licensure, or accreditation in the applicable field
