Job summary

Stone Security in Salt Lake City is seeking a Project Technician to join our projects team. You will install, program, startup and certify systems, and train customers on assigned projects.

Travel is required. Candidates typically have 3 years of experience installing camera, security, and access control systems and a high school diploma or equivalent. We provide extensive on‑the‑job training and support for certifications along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of leading a security installation team.
• Aptitude for networking, computers and general IT is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects.
• Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices.
• Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required.
• Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
• Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards.
• Travel is required.
