Job summary

Stone Security is seeking a detail-oriented Project Technician to join our team in the Dallas area (Grand Prairie). You will install, configure, start-up and certify security systems, train customers, and ensure compliance with company standards.

The role requires hands-on installation experience with network cameras, access control, and security systems, plus willingness to travel and lead installation tasks within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of leading a security installation team.
• Aptitude for networking, computers and general IT is preferred.
• On-the-job training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects.
• Run wiring, install hardware, and field terminate all devices.
• Inspect and test systems, batteries, and wiring; adjust and repair as required.
• Replace malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
• Ensure installations comply with Stone Security Standards.
• Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Travel is required.
