Job summary

Stone Security, a BearCom company, is seeking a highly organized Project Technician to join our security integration team in Salt Lake City. You will install, program, certify, and train customers on assigned projects, and travel to job sites as required.

The ideal candidate has three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch), security systems (DMP, Bosch), and access control (Lenel, S2).

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
• Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects.
• Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices.
• Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required.
• Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
• Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards.
• Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specs to determine installation procedures.
• Travel is required.
• As a Project Specialist, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Stone grows.
