Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start up, certify, and train customers on assigned projects including small or less complex ones. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports growth and exceptional service.

You will gain hands-on experience with security, fire alarm & life safety, and building automation systems, while following established procedures and collaborating with engineering and project teams.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to learn technical skills related to fire alarm systems and electronic security systems.
• Self-starter and able to work with direct supervision.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with hand and power tools.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis; minimal overnight travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of security, fire alarm and life safety, and building automation systems with guidance as needed.
• Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams and performs routine startup and certification testing.
• Demonstrates systems to customers and provides training as needed.
• Works with Project Manager/Operations Manager on coordinating projects and improving customer satisfaction.
• Performs duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
