Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY seeks a Security Project Manager to lead the design, installation, and maintenance of hospital physical security systems. The role partners with facility teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure secure operations across access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and visitor management.

Responsibilities include system integration into the security command center, ensuring proper operation, and educating staff on security technology.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with no violations for 2 years.
• Basic, Advanced and Supervisory Healthcare Security officer certification within a year.
• Ability to obtain Taser X-26 certification, baton and hand-cuff training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees installation, programming, operation and maintenance of physical security systems.
• Designs and implements new physical security systems with facilities/markets.
• Integrates systems into the security command center considering human factors.
• Educates Security/Facility Staff on use of systems technology.
• Develops and maintains security systems documentation for hardware and software systems.
• Manages upgrades to existing systems and supports new projects as required.
• Provides training and direct oversight to the Security Systems Analyst.
• Conducts investigations/assists security team with technology related aspects of investigations.
