Prime Partners seeks an experienced Security Project Manager to lead commercial security integration projects from inception through closeout. You will ensure on-time delivery within budget while maximizing customer satisfaction and safety across large-scale sites.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, resource coordination, risk control, and hands-on technical oversight of installation, testing, and commissioning of security systems.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience in low voltage / security systems.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in security integration or systems integration.
• Experience collaborating with General Contractors and end users on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and security manufacturers.
• Proficiency in project management software and basic design tools (AutoCAD, Revit).

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven, and forward-thinking Security Project Manager to lead and manage commercial security integration projects from inception through closeout. In this pivotal role, you will ensure projects are executed effectively within budget and on schedule while maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance. This customer-facing position requires collaborating with General Contractors and end users on large-scale projects, managing project lifecycles, and providing technical leadership to ensure the delivery of top-tier security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Plan, execute, and oversee commercial security integration projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, quality standards, and client specifications. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, GCs, and stakeholders to define requirements and objectives.
• Financial & Budget Management: Manage financial aspects, including profit and loss, budgeting, billing, cost control, and cost reporting, to ensure project profitability and financial goals.
• Resource & Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors for seamless integration of systems and efficient resource allocation.
• Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify and resolve project risks, issues, and conflicts. Enforce quality control protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Technical Support & Oversight: Conduct site surveys and provide technical support and oversight regarding the installation, testing, and commissioning of security systems.
• Stakeholder Communication: Conduct regular project status meetings, maintain comprehensive project documentation, and provide timely updates to clients, management, and stakeholders.
• Sales & Team Support: Support the sales team in business development efforts (including proposal and bid preparation) and lead project teams with clear direction and mentorship.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience (Required):
• Minimum 5 years of experience in low voltage / security systems.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in security integration or systems integration.
• Project Scope Experience: Proven experience collaborating with General Contractors and end users to manage and execute large-scale projects (such as data centers, commercial, or industrial sites).
• Technical & System Knowledge: Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and commercial security manufacturers, including Bosch, Avigilon, Stanley PAC, Honeywell, Lenel S2, Axis Communications, and others. Proficiency in project management software, tools, and basic design platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Financial & Business Acumen: Proficiency in managing profit and loss, budgeting, billing, and cost control.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver's License & Travel: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Access Control: Lenel, Software House (CCure 9000), Avigilon, Genetec
• Video Surveillance: Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, Axis
• Intercom Systems: Axis.
• Security & Alarm Systems: Bosch, Honeywell, DSC

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
