Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Director of Security Programs to lead multi-discipline security initiatives across data centers. You will drive security strategy, oversee access control and surveillance technologies, and partner with Legal, Compliance, and Operations to mitigate risk.

The role requires extensive leadership in corporate security and demonstrated experience in data-center environments. The position offers a hybrid work model with regular on-site presence and travel as needed, along with a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, business, engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive security leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading enterprise-level physical security programs.
• Experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, telecommunications, technology, or related industries.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar security budgets.
• Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, PMP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the security program's operations and effectiveness.
• Advise senior management on security, crisis management, and integrity matters.
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Drive corporate security strategies including executive, personnel, and physical security.
• Oversee physical access control infrastructure and security technologies.
• Develop security awareness training for employees and vendors.
• Manage Security Program Team budgets and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Security SOP and industry regulations.
