Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Director of Security Programs to lead and manage corporate security programs across data center operations. You will oversee security strategy, executive protections, physical security technology, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams.

The role requires 10+ years of security leadership, 5+ years in enterprise security programs, and experience in data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, business, engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive security leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading enterprise-level physical security programs.
• Experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, telecommunications, technology, or related industries.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar security budgets.
• Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, PMP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the operations and effectiveness of the company’s security program.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior management on security, crisis management, business integrity and related matters.
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Collaborate with public affairs teams to engage with external entities like government and regulators.
• Develop and drive corporate security strategies including executive, personnel, and physical security.
