Job summary

Palantir, a world‑changing software company, is seeking an Information Security Engineer focused on infrastructure security. You will protect endpoints, servers, identity systems, applications, and data flows while reducing attack surface and driving durable architectural improvements.

You will partner with Identity, Infrastructure, Engineering, and Legal teams to implement security controls, automate operations, and investigate incidents. A 5+ year track record is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in information security, infrastructure security, security engineering, or related field.
• Experience securing major infrastructure domains (Windows, macOS, Linux, cloud platforms, networks, identity systems).
• Ability to own projects, work across teams, and translate security findings into durable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve defensive security controls across endpoints, servers, identity systems, cloud services, SaaS applications, networks, and data flows.
• Own or contribute to security posture improvements including hardening standards, config management, remediation, access controls, monitoring, and validation.
• Build and maintain automation for security operations including patching, alert triage, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to reduce risk and drive architectural improvements.
• Translate assessments and investigations into durable fixes and security improvements.
