Job summary

phia LLC in the Baltimore/Washington corridor seeks an experienced Security Task Lead to direct a team delivering personnel, physical, industrial, information, and SCIF security operations for a national security program. You will provide overall management, decision authority, and proactive issue escalation to the customer.

You will manage security personnel, oversee the full clearance lifecycle, coordinate security training, supervise access control and monitoring, and oversee SCIF operations

Qualifications

• SFPC certification and TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 8+ years of security experience with 3+ years managing a security program.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of personnel, physical, industrial, information, OPSEC/CUI, and SCIF security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead security team and direct all security personnel, including subcontractors.
• Oversee the full clearance lifecycle and SF-86 processes within 48 hours.
• Coordinate security training and new-employee briefings; track completion.
• Develop physical security inspections; issue reports within 3 business days.
• Administer access control, badging, and 6:00 AM–6:00 PM monitoring.
• Oversee SCIF access control, inspections, audits, and escort of uncleared personnel.
• Review industrial, information/document control, OPSEC, and CUI programs; drive corrective actions.
• Lead monthly security vulnerability assessments and compliance inspections; remediate to commendable+.
