Job summary

NGA seeks a Security Specialist, Skill Level 3, to ensure CONUS/OCONUS facilities meet DoD and IC standards for SCI and collateral information, and to manage the SCIF lifecycle from concept to accreditation.

You will coordinate security programs, oversee access control, audits, and incident response, and prepare accreditation packages, briefs, and training materials for government customers.

Travel up to 25% may be required; strong knowledge of ICD-705 and related directives is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the physical security field.
• Experience conducting Physical SCIF inspections per ICD-705.
• Ability to generate Fixed Facility Checklists.
• Experience writing security reports and creating supporting metrics.
• Experience conducting risk assessments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure NGA facilities meet DoD and IC standards for SCI and collateral information.
• Manage SCIF lifecycle from concept to accreditation and final disposition.
• Oversee testing and maintenance of security systems and alarms.
• Coordinate with DoD and IC partners to safeguard classified information.
• Prepare accreditation documentation and briefing materials.
• Provide security briefings/trainings to non-security personnel.
