Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Seattle, WA. You will monitor and deter incidents, provide a welcoming environment, and deliver professional customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution.

This role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. CPR certification and guard license are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Criminal histories may be considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security‑related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
