Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Badge Authentication in Seattle, WA. You will protect employees, visitors, and assets while delivering professional customer service and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment at a technology-focused office location.

You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, respond to alarms, and document activities for leadership.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
