As a Security Police, you will perform duties required in the protection of personnel, property and equipment at the North Dakota Army National Guard in Camp Grafton, ND. Duties include controlling traffic entering the installation, verifying and direct visitors to the proper location and inspect/search vehicles entering the installation.
The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list.
The Security Guard, ensure the main gate facility is kept clean and functional with an adequate supply of required equipment and forms. You will issue temporary visitor/vehicle passes and short-term parking passes, patrol the camp to detect and deter criminal activities, report unusual incidents to supervisors, provide armed response to incidents and alarms, complete all necessary paperwork, inspect and clean Camp Grafton Security vehicles and facilities, open locked facilities for authorized personnel and the ability to perform First Aid, if needed. Provide protection and security as a member of a work unit providing coordinated 24/7 installation coverage.
