Job summary

Allied Universal in Orange, CA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver for residential homes. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service while safeguarding residents, guests, and staff.

This full-time, mix-shift role pays $23.00 per hour. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 6 months security experience, and high school diploma or equivalent. Drug screening and background checks apply.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM
• Sat: 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM
• Sun: 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
