Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Driver for a Luxury Gated Community in Newport Coast, CA. You will conduct patrols, assist residents, and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding Allied Universal values.

This role offers daytime shifts, a $22.30/hour pay rate, and opportunities for growth within a customer-focused team. A valid driver’s license and a clean background are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, amenities, and property perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Report maintenance hazards, property damage, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license.
