Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Driver Route Inspection in Dallas, TX. You will serve clients across Logistics & Distribution, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.

A valid driver’s license is required, and the role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. You will work daytime shifts and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal conducts a drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Unarmed roles require at least 18 years of age; armed roles require 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity or concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for personnel and visitors, and support vehicle and package movement procedures.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and emergency responders as needed while maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.
