As a Security Officer Patrol Driver for Community Homes in Irvine, CA, you will drive patrol routes, perform inspections, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering courteous resident service.

This part-time overnight role pays $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols throughout residential neighborhoods, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe community activity, reporting suspicious conditions, property concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Provide directions and assistance to residents and visitors while maintaining a professional presence throughout the community.

You will drive patrol routes, conduct routine inspections, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide responsive customer service to residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
