Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer – Patrol Driver Entry Credential Verification in Irvine, CA. You will patrol residential communities, monitor access, and respond to security incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Schedule is Wed 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM and Sun 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM; pay rate is $21.50 per hour. Allied Universal emphasizes training, growth, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must have at least six months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required where driving duties exist.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff according to site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas, building exteriors, parking, and amenities.

As a Driving Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarms or resident concerns. Wed 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community areas, building exteriors, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities through accurate reports and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
