Allied Universal, Irvine, CA, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Service to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other venues. The role requires conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting visitors with outstanding customer service.

A valid driver's license is required per Allied Universal policy. The position is Full Time / Late Evening with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Service in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and customers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
