Job summary

Swimlane, a leader in Agentic AI-powered security operations, is hiring a US-based Business Development Representative to drive new business through outbound prospecting and inbound qualification. You will research target accounts, personalize outreach, and hand off high-quality opportunities to Sales while partnering with Marketing and BDR leadership to optimize messaging and cadences.

• 1+ years of sales experience (B2B enterprise software preferred).
• Excellent communication and rapport-building with prospects.
• Professional presence and confident phone/Zoom etiquette.
• Listening and presentation skills with compelling messaging.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Curiosity about cybersecurity, AI automation, and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales opportunities by proactively prospecting to schedule meetings and qualify prospects against ICP and criteria.
• Research target accounts and key personas aligned with Swimlane’s ICP.
• Craft and execute personalized, multi-channel outreach using email, calls, and social.
• Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns and events to create opportunities.
• Hit quarterly and annual SQL targets and contribute to revenue growth.
• Attend regional events/tradeshows to engage prospects and schedule meetings.
• Maintain CRM with accurate activity and reporting; collaborate with marketing and sales.
• Participate in sales training and development to stay competitive.
