Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Liaison Supervisor in Waukegan, IL. The role oversees on-site security officers, enforces protocols, and delivers exceptional customer service while coordinating staffing and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience supervising security officers, reception personnel, or customer service teams preferred.
• Advanced computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have strong communication, reporting, and organization skills.
• Experience managing staffing schedules, employee attendance, and timekeeping needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills required.
• Must be able to develop training programs, conduct performance evaluations, and implement operational improvements.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a highly professional manner.
• Utilize strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills to maintain a safe and secure environment on site.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of security officers on site.
• Ensure all officers follow post orders and Securitas protocols.
• Communicate routine site visits to evaluate employee performance, operational effectiveness, and compliance with established procedures.
• Develop, maintain, and update employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing at all assigned locations, and ensure proper site coverage at all times.
• Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Respond to incidents and manage emergency situations effectively.
• Train new officers and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
• Maintain detailed reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs.
