Job summary

The D Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Shift Supervisor in Security to support daily operations, supervise security staff, and help ensure guest safety and a welcoming environment.

You will assist the Supervisor with training, incident reporting, and coordinating responses to emergencies, while upholding service standards and company policies.

This full-time role requires 21+ age, High School diploma or GED, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and support the Company Service Standards at all times.
  • Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities; train, plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance and address issues.
  • Maintain professional departmental, company and community presence.
  • Answer guest questions reflecting knowledge of the department and property.
  • Protect property assets from theft, assault, fire and other safety issues.
  • Observe and report unusual or suspicious behavior; escalate emergencies as needed.
  • Assist with shift administration including incident reports, logs, statistics, and documentation.
