Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Supervisor in Caledonia, MI to lead security operations on site and coordinate with the Security Manager and regional leadership. You will oversee scheduling, onboarding, and incident response while maintaining client trust and compliance.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, project management experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Travel to multiple sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Candidate has honorable military discharge, a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years’ experience in an operations supervisor and project management role.
• Ability to independently develop reports, spreadsheets, diagrams, charts, and other products (MS Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint).
• Understanding of security operations and contracts management preferred.
• Understand operational KPIs and ability to utilize data to drive operations.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and time management skills.
• Great communicator who gets the value of teamwork.
• Experience in general office setting in a supervisory role preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Must be flexible to travel to different sites and have a valid driver’s license with a clear MVR.
• Must possess State of Michigan Guard Card.

Responsibilities

• The go-to person for the client on security related issues or requests.
• Next in the chain-of-command after the Security Manager for field matters.
• Manage scheduling including requests and approved time off.
• Track attendance, disciplinary actions, vacation time off requests, and absence notices.
• Audit daily activity reports.
• Scan documents into the share drive as needed.
• Support terminations and separation process.
• Handle requisitions, interviewing, hiring and onboarding through to onsite.
• Manage uniform and equipment requests.
• Provide job training and ensure compliance.
• Meet with department heads as requested.
• Conduct investigations and keep client informed of incidents on site.
• Keep Post Orders up to date.
• Maintain frequent communication with Security Manager and regional leadership.
