Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least five years of experience in security, operations, or facilities management.
• Experience in supportive housing, shelter environments, or similar human services settings is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and safety protocol knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training of contracted security vendor staff on Lantern Community Services' housing operations protocols.
• Provide on-site support and oversight at various residential sites based on needs and priorities.
• Assess the effectiveness of site-specific security practices and develop solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement portfolio-wide security strategies.
• Train and support security staff in incident documentation, reporting, and follow-up procedures.
• Ensure staff are trained on safety protocols, including fire safety and evacuation plans.
