Job summary

First Coast Security Services is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead security operations at client sites in Houston. You will supervise Officers and Supervisors, ensure post orders are followed, and act as the main point of contact for on-site security during your shift.

This hands-on leadership role requires managing staff, coaching performance, and ensuring high quality service while meeting client requirements and company policy.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years managerial security-related experience.
• Texas Level II (Non-Comissioned) Security Guard License required.
• Current CPR certification that does not expire within 6 months.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Officers and Shift Leads and ensure post orders are followed.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain professional relationships.
• Perform duties of a Security Officer per post orders and company policy.
• Monitor incidents and security concerns and report them.
• Conduct scheduled site inspections and assign tasks to staff.
• Assist with training of Security Officers and enforce post orders.
• Meet with client representatives to confirm security requirements.
• Submit incident reports, payroll information, and other documentation timely.
• Develop and maintain employee schedules for all shifts.
• Coach and document performance; participate in hiring/termination decisions.
