Pearson is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to lead day-to-day Security Operations Center activities across Pearson environments. You will drive rapid incident response, automation, and collaboration with internal and external partners to safeguard critical assets.

The role emphasizes refining SOC processes, developing detection capabilities, and ensuring alignment with Pearson’s security standards and regulatory requirements. On-call duty will be required for 24x7 coverage.

Qualificações

• Experience in regulated environments or government clients is required.
• Proven background in security operations, incident response and detection engineering (4+ years).
• Hands-on expertise with SOAR, EDR, NDR, and SIEM technologies.
• Experience with one or more Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong multitasking, adaptability and thriving in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in translating risk to non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and execute advanced SOC operations, including incident detection, triage, containment and root cause analysis; 24x7 on-call coverage.
• Develop, implement and optimize detection logic, playbooks and automated response workflows.
• Continuously assess and enhance SOC processes in line with threat landscapes.
• Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to analyze risks and integrate TTPs into SOC operations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and communicate findings clearly.
• Ensure SOC activities comply with standards and Pearson policies; deliver executive-level reporting and metrics.
