Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, Security to support the Huntsville Production Program Security Team. You will oversee security requirements for classified manufacturing, SAPs, and related programs, coordinating with the Security Manager and program stakeholders to maintain compliance.

The role emphasizes technical guidance, security readiness, and seamless operation in a dynamic manufacturing environment, with travel between RTX facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years in security or an advanced degree with 3 years.
• Experience supporting classified DoD programs and interpreting security requirements.
• Experience with NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 and related security policies.
• Experience with personnel security, classified operations, and security inspections.
• Experience with Microsoft Products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily security operations across Huntsville facilities and classified programs.
• Ensure compliance with NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, JSIG, ICD-705 and RTX directives.
• Provide technical guidance to security personnel and assist with workload coordination.
• Serve as operational point of contact during the Security Manager’s absence.
• Support personnel security processing, SAP nominations, indoctrinations, and debriefings.
