Job summary

RTX, an RTX business, seeks an experienced Principal Program Security Specialist to join our Global Security Services Industrial Security Team in the Northeast U.S. Hybrid role with travel up to 20% to RTX locations and partners.

You will lead program security operations, ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, manage audits and training, and collaborate with government customers and internal teams to uphold security excellence across complex defense programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or program security leadership.
• Strong working knowledge of DoD security requirements (NISPOM).
• Ability to analyze complex contractual requirements and advise cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for security guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support program security operations ensuring DoD and NISPOM compliance.
• Interface with program leadership, government customers, and subcontractors to resolve security issues.
• Prepare for inspections, audits, and certifications and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver security education and awareness across organizational levels.
