Job summary

RTX’s Government Security Compliance team seeks a Special Programs Security Manager to oversee the DoD SAP program security for Pratt & Whitney assets. This onsite role in East Hartford, CT implements security manuals, SOPs, and contract requirements, coordinating with security and program leadership.

You will mentor CSSOs and manage PERSEC, information security and TOP SECRET accountability, while developing program-specific plans (OPSEC/PPIP) and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or 10+ years of security/defense experience, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Industrial Security field with DoD programs.
• Active US Government SECRET clearance, ability to obtain TOP SECRET with SAP/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Assist with full-scope implementation of DoD SAP Security Manual and SOPs.
• Lead oversight of a team of CSSOs and core compliance processes.
• Hold primary CSSO responsibility for a portfolio of SAP programs.
• Execute core compliance processes for PERSEC, information security and TOP SECRET accountability.
• Collaborate with industrial security, cybersecurity and program leadership on security goals.
• Develop and implement program-specific security plans (OPSEC, PPIP, outside work).
• Assist in annual and event-based security inspections and audits.
• Mentor and supervise assigned CSSOs and alternate CSSOs.
