Maximus, a trusted federal partner, is seeking a cybersecurity operations specialist to provide advanced support across enterprise IT and OT environments, including containment, remediation, and documentation.

The role requires 4+ years of cybersecurity experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment. Contingent upon contract award in the Raleigh, NC area.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity operations experience.
• Ability to document actions and maintain audit-ready records.
• Experience supporting cross-platform environments (cloud, infrastructure, network).
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools and incident tracking systems.
• Ability to operate in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for cybersecurity operations across enterprise IT and OT environments.
• Lead containment and remediation efforts during security incidents.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement remediation actions.
• Ensure all actions are documented for auditability and transfer of knowledge.
• Support vulnerability management and compliance activities aligned with federal guidance.
• Monitor security events and triage findings; escalate when appropriate.
• Contribute to incident response workflows and performance metrics.
