Job summary

Brook Lane is seeking a Manager of Security Operations & Emergency Preparedness to lead daily security operations and coordinate emergency planning and response. The role ensures a safe environment for team members, residents, patients, students, and visitors, supervising security personnel and incident response while developing security policies and ensuring compliance.

The position also oversees access control, surveillance, and visitor management, and it coordinates training on safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Three years of management experience in security.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• De-escalation training within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license and Meritus vehicle driving record.
• Healthcare security regulations knowledge.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Calm under high-stress situations.
• Experience with incident reporting systems and access control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security officers and ensure coverage.
• Conduct routine security rounds and respond to incidents.
• Investigate breaches, disturbances, thefts and other incidents.
• Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee access control, surveillance, visitor management, and key-control.
• Support staff with de-escalation and safety.
• Educate on security policies and workplace-violence prevention.
• Oversee patient valuables and secure storage.
