Job summary

DK Security is seeking an Operations Assistant in Grand Rapids, MI to support daily security operations, coordinate staffing, and assist with client communications. The role reports to Operations leadership and requires collaboration with HR, Site Supervisors, Security Officers, and the Command Center.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years in security management, a valid CPL or ability to obtain one, and strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security management experience preferred.
• Background checks and drug screening required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.
• CPL required or ability to obtain CPL.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations leadership in staffing and service delivery.
• Coordinate shift coverage with Site Supervisors and the DK Command Center.
• Maintain staffing records and escalate unfilled shifts.
• Assist with payroll, timekeeping, and billing processes.
• Represent DK Security in client meetings and site visits.
• Maintain training records and certifications.
