Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Specialist for the Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor events, analyze incidents, and support physical security systems. The role focuses on safeguarding people, assets, and facilities while communicating findings to management.

Based at the Cable HQ SOC in West Chester, PA, this full-time swing-shift position (Sat-Wed, 4pm-12am) may require additional hours on weekends to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred in security management, criminal justice, or related field.
• Experience with incident management processes and crisis response.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with access control, video management, intrusion detection systems.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify critical issues.
• Knowledge of physical security systems and threat intelligence concepts.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in high-stress environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor internal and external security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Support video patrols, monitor camera feeds, and assist in investigating alarms.
• Analyze security incidents and identify patterns or trends.
• Monitor open-source media for security-related events.
• Provide timely information to protect people, assets, and facilities.
• Follow security policies and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain and monitor physical security systems.
• Document information to support decision-making.
• Assist in training new Specialists and third-party operators.
• Contribute to SOP development and training materials.
• Communicate effectively with peers, partners, customers, and employees.
• Participate in continuous improvement of SOC processes.
