Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Security Operations Analyst who will monitor security events across the RSOC, analyze incidents, and coordinate responses to protect assets across locations in the enterprise. The role requires experience with CCTV, access controls, and incident response, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient with CCTV, access control, operating systems (Windows, MS Office), and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with incident response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs from intelligence hub tools and other security technologies such as cameras and access control systems.
• Conduct remote guarding patrols via security technology systems.
• Communicate with site leaders regarding incident reports or potential security concerns at locations across the enterprise.
• Conduct initial triage of safety, operational, and security incidents, escalating as needed, and coordinate response activities.
• Investigate suspicious activities, primarily through CCTV, including unauthorized access attempts and insider threats.
• Maintain and update incident response playbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Quickly gather facts and document in incident reports. Provide updates as necessary.
• Participate in security audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments.
• Provide recommendations for security improvements and contribute to overall security strategy.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned or apparent.
