Job summary

Titan Security Group is hiring Security Officers to work at a residential location in Cleveland, Ohio. Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV, conducting patrols, enforcing access policies, responding to incidents, and documenting activities. Must meet physical demands and pass background checks.

English proficiency required; security guard card in Ohio needed. Competitive benefits offered. Salary starting at $16.50 per hour, with paid vacation and personal days, medical/dental/life/AD&D

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to obtain a security guard card in the state of Ohio.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job (e.g., lift 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather).

Responsibilities

• Enforce property access policies and verify identification for visitors and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and coordinate with first responders.
• Document all activities, incidents, and maintenance issues accurately.
• Provide customer service and assist with directions, inquiries, and building information.

Education and/or Experience:

Previous security experience, High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Language Skills:

Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bilingual considered a plus.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A list of these job duties is inclusive of, but not limited to: candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.; be able to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facility; be able to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather.
