Job summary

Titan Security Group in Lansing, Michigan is hiring Security Officers to join our team. You will provide excellent customer service, conduct patrols on foot and by vehicle, and help manage access to facilities.

This position requires a valid driver's license, a HS diploma or GED, ability to pass background checks and drug screen, and the physical ability to meet job duties including lifting up to 75 lbs and working in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 75 lbs, completing foot patrols, sitting, standing, walking, driving for a significant period of time, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information.
• Conduct general patrols on foot and within a vehicle to check for security violations like unsafe conditions or unauthorized persons.
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management.
• Other duties as assigned.
