As a Security Officer X Ray Threat Recognition in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will operate X-ray screening equipment, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and shipments. You will provide courteous customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery partners while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, cargo, and personal property in accordance with applicable site procedures and screening requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorized entry for restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify irregular conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
