Responsibilities

• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering designated areas.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections of persons, property, packages, and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas and perimeters.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time X Ray Parcel Review in Indianapolis, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with site requirements and established procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct authorized inspections of persons, property, packages, and/or vehicles to help identify prohibited items or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, access points, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
