Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Menlo Park, CA. The role involves unarmed patrols, access control, and customer service for a technology and research site. A valid driving license and an active clearance are required to support a secure, professional environment within a dynamic team.

You'll work in a flexible schedule with a pay rate of $28.87 per hour, contributing to incident response, logs, and site operations while adhering to policy and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and research location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Pay Rate: $28.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or applicable license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
