Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer with an active DoD clearance in Salt Lake City, UT. You will act as a front desk presence, managing access, visitor coordination, and security communications in an aerospace/defense environment.

The role requires DoD Secret Clearance, 1+ year of security experience, and compliance with background checks, drug screens, and licensing requirements. Full-time daytime shifts available.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by law.
• Background checks and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk while following site-specific policies.
• Monitor facility access by verifying visitor credentials and issuing passes.
• Answer calls, manage communications, and provide directions to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, notifying site contacts and emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate records of access activity and security-related front-desk communications.
