Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Salt Lake City, UT to provide professional front desk service and security operations at an aerospace/defense location. You will verify credentials, monitor access, and respond to security-related concerns while maintaining a welcoming environment.

The role requires 1 year of security experience, an active DoD Secret Clearance, and a HS diploma. Schedule includes weekend night shifts; there is potential for shift flexibility and career

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional customer service at front desk for employees and visitors.
• Carry out site-specific security procedures including visitor registration and credential verification.
• Monitor calls, visitor activity, and access points; escalate issues per procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and effectively; notify authorities as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation.
