As a Security Officer Welcome Desk in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier commercial real estate location, you will provide a welcoming presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying authorization, managing visitor registration, and directing guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Maintain awareness of lobby activity, report unusual conditions or unauthorized access concerns, and help to deter inappropriate activity through a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and notification procedures.
• Perform administrative front-desk duties, including answering phones, receiving deliveries, maintaining logs, and communicating relevant information to building management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
