Securitas, Inc. is seeking a full-time Security Officer at our New London, WI site. The role includes patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

You will protect people and property while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Candidates should have a HS diploma and strong tech skills, with security/military experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills expected.
• Prior security, law enforcement or military experience is a plus.
• Must work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must remain calm under pressure and stay vigilant during shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and escalation.
• Strong observational and communication abilities and quick decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment protecting employees, customers, and visitors.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Perform conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Conduct access control at security entrances/exits.
• Carry out regular patrols of premises including buildings and parking areas.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security equipment.

Security Officer — Full Time

Site Location: New London, WI

Wage: $16.79/HR (raises available!)

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
