Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Alarm Panel Operator in Minooka, IL. You will monitor sites, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while supporting access control and alarm responses.

Pay rate is $19.47 per hour. The schedule includes DayTime, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM; prior security or alarm panel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing individuals according to site-specific procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
