Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Badge Authentication in Mooresville, IN. The role offers reliable fixed hours with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.51 per hour. You’ll perform access control, patrols, and incident response while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors. Background checks and drug screening apply where required.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to report unusual conditions or security concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, deliveries, and contractor entry in accordance with site‑specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols and incidents.

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
