Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Mooresville, IN. This role provides flexible, dependable hours, including opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Expect a base pay of $17.51 per hour with a fixed shift and a path toward more hours as needed.

You will perform access control, patrols, incident response, and customer service while maintaining site-specific policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 18+ at minimum for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol in Mooresville, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site‑specific access‑control procedures.
• Report hazards, damaged property, unusual conditions, and other security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and appropriate client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
