Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location while performing security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access activity and report security concerns, hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site contacts and responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation per site requirements.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Observation in Georgetown, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access activity and report security-related concerns, hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
